Every row is a share of the same 28 plate appearances, so the lengths are directly comparable. Singles and other outs are derived from the season line rather than reported. The mark on each row is what a regular does — 211 hitters with at least 300 plate appearances this season, pooled.

Each bar is the RELATIVE gap between the two hands on that row — the widest gap in this card fills the track and every other bar is scaled against it. It is a gap, not a quality rating, and it is never normalized against another card or a league average. Plate appearances are context, so neither side leads that row.
