Every row is a share of the same 529 plate appearances, so the lengths are directly comparable. 6 appearances get their own band rather than joining the outs, because this page carries no hit-by-pitch or sacrifice figure and a hit-by-pitch reaches base. Singles and other outs are derived from the season line rather than reported. The mark on each row is what a regular does — 207 hitters with at least 300 plate appearances this season, pooled.
